Can one touch the monkeys or feed them?
No. Each monkey has its own menu, suited for its needs. many monkeys are hunters. Eating too much fruit (and bananas) can cause diabeties.
It is not allowed to touch the monkeys. They are wild animals and we give them the respect and the space that they deserve.
Where do your monkeys come from?
Some of the monkeys came after experiments, others were smuggled to Israel after their parents were hunted and they were sold on the black market. Other monkeys come to us after being raised in non-suitable conditions.
Is the Sanctuary accessable?
The main path is partly accessable. It is a gravel path, and all of the steps can be bypassed by a ramp.
Is there a kiyosk?
The kiyosk is open on Friday and Saturday, and on school holidays. It sells mainly closed products.
